I’ve been working on The Man in the Blue Suit my horror graphic novel that will collect my short black & white comics about James Harris but they r also pretty autobiographical. If u want to see it ahead of publication join my Patreon at the $3+ level or u can also read a few of the comics in anthologies & magazines. My 24 page comic The Tooth appeared in The Shirley Jackson Project anthology & an animated version of The Tooth is in ANMLY25. In December my 20 page comic The Daemon Lover will be in Now: The New Comics Anthology #5 out from Fantagraphics :)

Maggie doesn’t need to wax poetic in this book to convey her deep love for the natural world. She is steeped in the wild, and it shows in each piece, whether it is a painting, print, etching, or collage. Instructional and beautiful, 270º is my favorite book from Maggie Umber so far.

The cartoonist Jason Hart is doing a series called Inking the New Masters for Inktober. If you head over to his IG page u can see that he included me & inked a copy of my intaglio print Mrs. Picasso’s Duck. Awwwww!

My new 14 page comic The Intoxicated is up on Patreon now for my $5+ supporters. My medium for this comic was trace monotypes that I printed with crayon and pencil on newsprint.

I draw on one side of the paper and the pressure prints the ink on the other.

Shades Of Sky is my first print at INPRINT! I painted it with Sennelier watercolor on smooth handmade Khadi paper in response to poet @street-heart-posts. You can read her poem For Maggie, who knows all the shades of sky and see my process of creating the painting on Patreon.
